Can I buy or swap crypto now?
CAXBIT is currently in early access. Live market prices and saved estimates are available. Purchases and swaps remain unavailable until their payment and wallet connections are activated and verified. No payment is taken when you get or save an estimate.
What is the difference between a price estimate and an order?
An estimate uses a recent market reference price and expires after two minutes. It excludes provider and network fees. An order starts only when an enabled transaction route accepts your request. The final rate, fees and total must be reviewed before you pay.
Which currencies and networks are included?
The price watchlist includes BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT, SOL and XRP in GBP, USD and EUR. Buy estimates cover BTC on Bitcoin, and ETH and USDC on Ethereum. Swap estimates cover BTC, ETH, USDC and USDT; stablecoin estimates use Ethereum ERC-20. A watchlist entry is not an executable trading pair.
What is Caxbit Credit?
A planned prepaid balance funded by bank transfer. Verified funds become available to pay at participating checkouts. Where agreed holding terms apply, money is assigned to an order until release or refund. Top-ups and Credit payments are not open yet.
Will I have to use another exchange?
The planned bank-funded crypto route uses CaxBit inventory. A separate exchange is not required for that route. Bank, CaxBit and blockchain fees, where applicable, must be shown before payment. Funding is not open yet.
Can I still pay by card?
Merchants may offer Stripe where their business and payment route are approved. CaxBit card funding is not enabled. A private gateway does not change a payment processor’s eligibility rules.
Do I need to connect my wallet to see prices?
No. You can explore market prices and save estimates without connecting a wallet. CAXBIT will never ask for a seed phrase or a wallet private key. An active purchase provider will ask for the receiving address and network before delivery.
Why does the network matter?
The same asset may exist on several networks. The receiving wallet must support the exact asset and network shown in the order. Transfers on the wrong network may be irrecoverable. Never send funds based on an estimate or a wallet address supplied outside the active transaction flow.
Does buying crypto pay for a product on another CAX website?
No. Funding your own wallet and paying a merchant are separate actions. A website connection may prefill a funding request, but a completed funding transaction is not a product receipt. Each website must separately confirm its own payment and access rules.
Where is my activity stored?
Your saved estimates and order records are stored on CAXBIT, with access tied to this browser session. There is no account sign-in in the current release. Closing the session or deleting cookies may remove access to this activity. Personal registration details are handled separately.
Can I earn a guaranteed return here?
No. CAXBIT does not promise investment returns. Crypto prices can change sharply and you can lose money. Only proceed when you understand the asset, total cost, network and transaction terms.
